MY STORY
I'm Nikki, the owner of For the Love of Veg. I've always been a little obsessed with vegetables - growing them, eating them, trying out new ways of cooking with them. I even had a vegetable themed hen do! I discovered the exciting world of fermenting during lockdown, experimenting with different vegetables and flavour combinations. I love that there is still so much to learn about the gut microbiome and a world full of diverse fermenting methods, every day is a learning day!

For the Love of Veg produces and sells kombucha, kimchi and different flavours of sauerkraut. I like to try and make the most of what the season has to offer, with a bit of foraging, making the most of surplus from the Long Ashton allotment, and using the best local and seasonal vegetables the greengrocer has to offer. I'm usually found in the kitchen, trying out new recipes and often have a seasonal special for sale.

On the first Saturday of the month, I sell at the Long Ashton Village Market. Come and say hi!
